BOTOX
BOTOX prevents muscle movement which cause wrinkles. It is a synthetic protein often used to reduce the visibility of crow’s feet and frown lines which develop from sustained muscle movement, particularly in the brow area above the eyes.
Its best applied to the upper face:

- Around the eyes (for crow’s feet)
Its formulation includes a precise amount of a neurotoxin produced by a bacterium called clostridium botulinum.
BOTOX blocks the nerves from sending signals to facial muscles to prevent contraction. The outcome is a relaxed facial appearance and a delay of wrinkle formations.
Juvéderm
Juvéderm is a soft tissue filler used mainly for lines around the mouth and nose. It is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler great for softening wrinkles and creases from the nose to the corner of the mouth (nasolabial fold). With age comes loss of facial fat. This can cause lines around the mouth that look like parentheses, cause the cheeks to flatten, or the lips to flatten.
Hyaluronic acid is natural to the body, so there is no risk for allergic reactions. Injected in the problem areas, mainly in the mid to lower face, it aids to plump up sagging facial areas and fill voids. Other products, like Restalyne, are also hyaluronic acid fillers.
