Breast Lift with Implants at Aesthetx

Time takes a toll on the body, in some places more than others. Your breasts, for instance, are particularly sensitive to the effects of gravity, and the skin losing elasticity over time certainly doesn’t help. Many women, especially those who have been pregnant, come to us hoping to restore a youthful look to their body contour. By combining a breast lift with implant augmentation, Dr. Zeidler can provide life-changing, one-of-a-kind results.

This dual procedure both restores the breast’s positioning while increasing volume and perfecting overall shape. Every surgery is customized to fit your unique preferences, goals, and anatomy. We take meticulous care to craft breast lifts with implants and can provide a comprehensive range of results from subtle and natural-looking augmentation to dramatic transformations.

Determining Your Breast Transformation

At Aesthetx, our goal is your absolute comfort and confidence. During your initial consultation, your surgeon will listen to your concerns and discuss the various surgical options available.

We’ll go into the specifics of each procedure and help you understand what’s best for your desired outcomes. In general, breast lift with implants have the power to both provide volume where you want it (in the upper part of the cleavage) and take the excess tissue from where you don’t (the hanging/sagging part of the breast below the fold).

The lift repositions the nipple and removes unwanted sagging breast tissue, while the implant boosts your volume and fullness. Your doctor will fully cover the anatomical changes of breast augmentation with and without a breast lift to ensure you make the right decision.

Is a Breast Lift with Implants Right for Me?

Breast lift with implants is one of our most commonly performed procedures for patients who have experienced multiple pregnancies or significant weight loss. Young women in their twenties can sometimes develop relaxed breasts due to genetics, and this procedure is ideally suited for them as well.

Regardless of your situation, a breast lift with implants creates a beautiful contour and youthful look in harmony with the rest of your body.

Breast Lifts with Implants can:

  • Lift your breasts to a perkier, youthful, elevated position
  • Increase the volume of your breasts
  • Improve the shape of your breasts
  • Address drooping nipples
  • Enhance your self-confidence

Our patients say their breast lift with implants helps them feel amazing in and out of clothing, whether they’re on the beach in a swimsuit or at the office in something more conservative. Whatever your age, this procedure can give you breasts shaped like you’ve always dreamed and regain anything lost due to changes over time.

Why do I need a breast lift?

Breast lifts, or mastopexy, are generally considered for patients whose nipples drop beneath the midpoint of the breast mound, or if breast tissue sinks below the breast fold. Age, genetics, weight loss, and pregnancy can all cause relaxation of the breasts.

Why combine my breast lift with implants?

Breast lift surgery can be performed using several techniques. For patients looking to slightly reduce the size of their breasts, we can remove tissue in the lower part of the breasts to reduce weight and provide a longer-lasting lift. As for those who want to maintain their natural volume without implants, we can perform auto-augmentation, relocating lower breast tissue behind the nipple, increasing upper breast volume, and adding projection.

If you hope to improve both your breast volume and positioning, it’s worth considering an implant. There is no competition when it comes to providing a substantial volume change while enhancing projection and perkiness.

Do results last?

Yes, for most patients, the results of your breast lift with implants should last a lifetime. Of course, it’s vital to maintain a healthy lifestyle and a stable weight. Any further pregnancy has the capability of changing your breasts, as well.

That said, your long-term results are largely dependent on your skin quality and genetics. Further, implants are not lifetime devices, and patients should understand that getting implants means investing in replacing them every 10-15 years.

Will breast lift surgery cause me to lose sensation in my nipples?

There is a slight risk of losing nipple sensation during any breast operation. However, breast lift with implant surgery has a relatively low risk, only affecting around 2-5% of patients worldwide.

Will I be able to breastfeed after a breast lift with implants surgery?

Yes, absolutely! The breast gland, milk ducts, and nipple (all of the breastfeeding mechanisms) are undisturbed by surgery. However, some women–regardless of breast surgery–cannot breastfeed. If you are in this category, you may still face difficulty after surgery.

Will my breast lift with implants leave noticeable scarring?

Your surgeon will do their absolute best to minimize scarring. We advise beginning scar care four to six months following your surgery to optimize results. Most patients will have scars shaped like a lollipop, with a straight line to the fold of the breast from the nipples. We have all of our patients treat the scars with customized silicone sheeting in conjunction with laser treatments to minimize the scars.

After taking proper care of their healing incisions, most patients only have a thin, pale line six months to a year after surgery. For at least the first year post-op, you’ll need to avoid direct sun exposure to your scars.

What happens during recovery?

For the first few days, you’ll need to take off from work and rest. The day after surgery, you should begin to take short walks to encourage blood flow and stretch a bit. These first nights you’ll feel the best sleeping on your back, and we’ll give you a surgical bra to wear that will help support your breasts as they heal.

Within seven to 10 days, most patients return to work (as long as you don’t have a physically strenuous job). After about three weeks, you should be able to return to light exercise and by six weeks be able to return to vigorous exercise and lifting.

Implants do not impair your ability to get mammograms and you should be able to breastfeed if you have children.
